Buying a paramotor

If you are looking to buying a paramotor you have come to the right place. Here you will find various information on the different paramotors which I offer. Buying a paramotor is a lot more complex than a lot of people imagine. When buying a paramotor, you must make sure that the machine is suitable for the purpose you intend. The paramotor must be of excellent quality. The paramotor must be powerful enough with out being dangerously over powered. The paramotor must have excellent geometry to make it easy to fly. Finally, the paramotor must be reliable. Read the paramotor buyers guide on this website to find out what you need to know.

Paramotors and you

Please note that I no longer supply PAP paramotors to the UK market. I am however delighted to be able to promote and supply paramotors from Parajet, the only British manufacturer and Clemente Paramotors of Spain who continue to bring out exciting new designs including the new Cisco Motor powered C-Max 175cc centrifugal clutched engine choice; the most powerful and largest capacity paramotors available with this clutch system. Please bear with me over the next few months as I update the website with these excellent products. In the mean time, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me on 08454 790635 or 07775865095.

Paramotors and me

At Paraventure Airsports, I have been importing and selling paramotors to the UK market since 2001 but been flying them myself since 1994. After promoting, testing and selling various brands over the years, I now very much have a few favorites. There are a lot of paramotors on the market with various degrees of reliablity; some are actually good, some are down right awful; the truth is simple however. There are a lot more bad ones than good ones out there. It comes down to good frame design and geometry coupled to an excellent engine. I now have more than enough experience after all these years to know the good ones from the bad. As a dealer for these excellent products, I am here to help and advise the customer and are delighted to recommend, support and to represent them here in the UK.

Parajet have the huge advantage in the fact that they are just down the road in Wiltshire. If you need a spare part or have a problem, they can get you back in the air within a very short time. Spares are usually available withing 24 hours to yourdoor. Do not underestimate this service. I have seen pilots having to wait weeks or even months for a simple part thats keeping them on the ground. Parajet are a progressive company that is going from strength to strength as their various TV exploits show. They are innovators and constantly push the envelope. More recently, they are the first company to bring to market the worlds first rotary powered paramotor. When it comes to Parajet, it really is 'watch this space'!

Clemente is fronted by Jose Clemente. He is an unassuming guy with a background in motorcycling. A few years ago this bought him into paramotoring with a wish to improve on the various designs of the time. He settled for the common but correct system of underarm attachments and stainless steel cage. I believe that Clemente's big strength has been their choice of engines. The Rak has been around for years in karting. Small, fairly light but very strong. The Snap 100 is a piece of art and one of the most reliable engines that I have supplied. The Black Devil in my opinion is simply one of the best engines out there. Its been proven over the years and the one engine I constantly hear of doing hundreds of hours without a hitch. The Simonini is again proven and very powerful, too powerful for most. The new 'Super Snap' C-Max from Cisco (who also make the Snap100) is causing a storm. The reliability of the Black Devil but with a centrifugal clutch; could this be the ultimate paramotor engine?

With rotary and electric paramotors starting to appear, the future looks exciting. If a product is good and I believe it can be of benefit to my customers, you will find it here sooner or later. But as always, if theres anything you need to ask, something is puzzling you or just finding damn right confusing, please call me. Advice is free and always shared.

Good Flying, Paul Williams
